LET'S UPLOAD YOUR CATALOG AND PRESETS
IN TWO EASY STEPS
STEP ONE
CREATE PRESET FILE
Create and name a new preset file with your name
(example: YourNameHere-presets)
Locate your presets in Lightroom by clicking
Lightroom > preferences > preset tab > show Lightroom preset folder > Lightroom file > Develop Presets file
Copy presets into your new preset file you created.
STEP TWO
CREATE ZIP FILE
Load all of your RAW selects into a new Lightroom catalog
Build Smart Previews (if you haven't already upon import). In the library tab, select all of you RAWs and then click
Library > Previews > Build Smart Previews
Go to the folder containing the Lightroom catalog you just made and you will find your Smart Previews
as well as the Previews.lrdata file
Create + name a new file with your name and clients name
(Example: SARAHPETERSON-A+M / SARAH.P-Amy+Mike)
have this file contain these three files:
SmartPreviews.lrdata
Previews.lrdata
(catalog).lrcat
Create 1-5 anchor (pre-edited) images within the LR catalog (these are usually edited sneak peeks). This will help
me work with your preset and keep the same style throughout the photo gallery.
ZIP (or compress) your file
